When I get a fax at the office, it comes to me via email as a .tif file.

I am looking for a way to combine these files, kind of like how you can take multiple pdf documents and combine them into one file.

Is there a way to do that with .tif files or is this just a really cheap program?

So Cal
on ours we have the option to default to PDF or tiff... I have it set up to PDF, but I know you can convert to non editable PDFs

Converting TIFF images to PDF (portable document format) files

The TIFF library comes with a convenient tool for converting TIFF images into PDF format. Because we now have the ability to save a DIB image as a TIFF file we can essentially convert any image into a PDF file. This fantastic capability is accomplished by another C function provided with the TIFF library called tiff2pdf. For the sample project, I choose to build the tiff2pdf function into a separate executable and launch the executable from the application.

That's something for the administrators or something, right? I'm just a user. :(

I ended up printing them then scanning them back into my computer. Bizarre.

If you have Adobe Acrobat Standard on your computer you can print the .tif file by selecting the adobe printer...thus converting it without printing.

If you have Acrobat Professional and you want to join multiple files (of any type), it's best to do File->Create PDF->From Multiple Files

That sorta sucks.

Yeah, but at least it has the thing where it reads stuff out loud to you. I'd be lost without it. :)
