I have to admit I was skeptical all along but Daniels trainer announced today he will enroll in a prepschool as yet to be determined so he will NOT play college ball this year. The trainer said he wants to be physically ready for college and claims Daniels has a 3.2 GPA and is fully NCAA eligible.

UCLA, UA, ASU, and several other Pac 10 schools and Kentucky, Tennessee etc were all recruiting him. Apparently so was Texas which makes no sense since the reports were Texas dropped him, not the other way around, apparently that was not true or they wouldn't have dropped him in the first place.

So it looks like if he winds up in the Pac 10 it won't be until 2011.

Something is going on. Why would a player decommit from a major program like Texas to receive interest from most of the Pac-10 decide on prep school if academics aren't an issue. Developing his game and getting stronger seems like a good cover, but I don't buy it.
