Plot Summary: Directed by Lasse Halstrom and based on the novel by best-selling author Nicholas Sparks, "Dear John" tells story of John Tyree (Channing Tatum), a young soldier home on leave, and Savannah Curtis (Amanda Seyfried), the idealistic college student he falls in love with during her spring vacation. Over the next seven tumultuous years, the couple is separated by John's increasingly dangerous deployments. I love me some chick flicks but this was horrible. Horrible, horrible, horrible.

Channing Tatum can't act and he mumbles (but is pretty cute). Amanda Seyfried did okay but yeah, the acting as a collective whole was poor. I might have liked it with better casting. Say... Rachel McAdams and Ryan Gosling? Just kidding

Didnt think it was horrible. But didnt think it was really good either.

Cast someone else in Tatum's role and I think the movie could move into the good category.
