Whats your problem ,Son? You have regressed to a point we're you might be riding the pine very soon. Are you pissed about Greens departure? Are you pissed because Whiz called for you to step up a bit? ARe you frustrated tha Leinart has been less than stellar and you're not getting the ball enough?
You need to look in the mirror young man. You are not the same guy you were the last couple of years. This team needs you to step back up and be a man. Take a page from Q if you don't know what I'm talking about.

Fitzgerald is in no danger of being benched and generally this entire post was pointless.

Thank You Chris Sanders. Not only is your Post 100% correct, you also wrote it so that it wasn't too insulting. Bravo.

This is one bad game for Fitz so now his head has problems???

How about Q fumbling couple of years ago against Panthers on what could have been a game deciding drive? How about Edge fumbling last year against Bears?

Things happen...

Disagree. The post absolutely has merit.

He had one drop and a fumble on an amazing play by the defender. Outside of that he went 5 for 85. He drew Chris McCallister in coverage which helped Boldin on his amazing day.

He is in no danger of being benched. He is ranked #21 in receptions with 15 and #16 in yards with 192.

While his stats are not Boldin's (Who is #5 in both catagories), to say that he is a headcase in danger of being benched is an exaggeration at best.

Here comes the body language linguists again.

People will see what they want to see I suppose. Especially when it comes to the endlessly pointless Boldin versus Fitzgerald thing. For some reason it is impossible to like both players for some people.

Yeah, Fitz's attitude didn't look to nice today, but so what? I would be pissed too if my quarterback was to busy trying to get laid during the week to look at his playbook. Anyway, who is gonna play for him. Morey has the worst catching abilty I have ever seen. He should never ever be alowed to step on the field for anything other than ST. BJ lived up to being called Skillethands today, dropping two crucial 3rd down passes and we have no one else. Too bad Merritt got hurt, he was looking good.

Morey dropped a bullet pass from Matt for a good 20 yard 1st down and Terelle Smith dropped 2 passes as well early in the game.

Wide receivers tend to get a little upset, when they get open and the quarterback doesn't get them the ball. So Fitz is human. Big hairy deal!

Fitz had a so-so day IMO, Anquan had a fantastic day. There will be games where the reverse is true. As Joe said, Fitz drew McAllister most of the game. That will slow down most receivers.

I can only imagine if Fitz had 220 and 2, and Boldin fumbled.....

It would have been Fitz fault and the body language linguists would have said Fitz wasnt happy enough with his results and not celebarating enough.

I know someone last year got on Fitz for not celebrating after he scored a TD.

Not saying he will (or should ) be benched. But the stats you point our not withstanding, I saw him play. I saw his drops. I saw his body language.

And all of the above tells me that there is a problem.

Then he should catch every damn ball that is thrown his way, wouldn't you agree? He dropped one too many to be upset about anthing except his screwups. Yes, I said screwups, because that's exactly what they were. IMO, he hurt us more than Leinart today.

You can sugarcoat things all you want Chris. But Larry just isnt the same this year so far. Either in his demeanor or his reliability. He had two drops today as far as Im concerned he should have held onto that sideline out at the beginning of the game and he didnt. He has had several drops already. Which isnt genarally Larry like.

Now it could be poor QB play from Leinart. Which is obvious or it could be something else. Im willing to give him the benefit of the doubt until the QB play gets much better and more consistent.

Oh and it VERY possible for people to like both Fitz and Q. I know I do. I just like one more than the other. Which unfortunately to some people on this board that is equivolent a crime.

Hold on now. Fitz play did not cost us the game. He could have WON the game if he had played better but three special teams mistakes doomed us. The punt return; the failure to down the ball at the 1, and the missed FG. Rackers has hit too many long ones to complain but the fact is, those were the killers.
