Probably end up buying eventually... Simpsons and Shaun of the Dead in particular, maybe King Arthur as well.

King Arthur...

I guess I can see collecting some of your favorite movies, owning them, etc...just to have.

But movies that aren't even that great, or are just so-so...to buy them just to biuy them is beyond me.

I have about 30 DVD's I think, and it's made up of movies I love and will watch over and over...yet even in there, some of them I can't really watch over and over again...

I guess for me, I buy movies that I'll be able to re-watch again and again.

But if I'm only going to watch a movie once, then shove it back int he cabinet, I can think of better things to spend $15-20 on.

Napoleon Dynamite was great! It's definatly worth watching... especially if you enjoy Wes Anderson or Paul Thomas Anderson type humor. Very Very funny stuff!

I've read a review of the DVD of King Arthur: The Unrated Director's Cut and they said it is a much better movie because it is certainly gorier and grittier--and with less cutting during the battle scenes (which they had to do in order to get the PG-13). You're correct, the movie itself was a little disappointing, but it had potential to be better--hopefully this potential is realized in the new version. Plus, I like period pieces anyway, and I love Keira Knightley and really like Clive Owen.
