Adios Dela...

You had your chance and screwed up big time. This is no petty crime, what an idiot.

Arizona Wildcats football: Receiver Dean will transfer
Story By Ryan Finley, Arizona Daily Star |
Saturday, June 26, 2010

Arizona Wildcats wide receiver Delashaun Dean will transfer to a Division II school, a week after being arrested and charged with possession of a concealed weapon.

Dean told the Star today that he has yet to pick a school. Central Washington and Texas A&M-Kingsville are among the programs he’s considering, Dean said.

UCLA just dismissed three Top 50 recruits who were arrested on suspicion of theft. I think every school is on alert because of what's happened at Oregon. In the past I suspect all of these kids would have at least been given informal due process and let the courts decide their fate.

Who gets the house then?

I'm guessing it already went back into foreclosure with James Harden's place.

Dela has always been a headcase both off and on the field. We won't miss him.

One of the positives (or negatives depending on who you ask) of the current overflow of sports media. You can't sweep the big stuff under the rug as much as you used to. Instead of these colleges having an overflow of skeletons in their closet it's merely just packed tight in there.
