We bought an M6700 that came with both an SSD and a spinner drive. 256 SSD, 750 spinner. for some reason Dell installed the OS on the spinner not the SSD. We wanted it the other way around so I had to contact Dell Tech Support to make sure I could do that without voiding the warranty. they admitted right away the OS should go on the SSD not the spinner. During this process I discovered 2 things, it's not a Sata SSD it's an MCard(they're tiny), and the parts list says PM830 which is a Samsung, but the actual Mcard SSD is a Liteon which appears to be an inferior product, same size and specs but not much review on it and apparently cheaper.

So I contacted Dell and they agreed and sent out a replacement. It arrived and it's again a Liteon not a Samsung. Talk to dell, they confirm they ordered the right part, you should contact parts. So parts keeps sending me emails demanding I send them back the old drive so I respond to that and they after 3 mails finally reply and say contact Customer Care. So I do and they direct me to Parts, when i tell them I've already been there they direct me to.. .Tech Support which is where we started.

So today I get my 2nd replacement, and again they sent the wrong one. So now I'm trying to get them to tell me their price for both so I can keep the liteon(it has the OS on it now) and get credited for the price difference.

Unreal
