Lost in all this Beckham madness is the fact that earlier this week Clint Dempsey signed with Fulham, MLS was given the highest transfer fee in their history for him(around $4 million). This is great for Clint and great for the US National team.
Fulham is also trying to negotiate for Onyewu's rights as well. Standard Liege rejected Fulhams first offer but they are still at it.
If Onyewu is finally granted his transfer Fulham will have 4 Americans (likely in their starting 11)with Bocanegra and McBride already there. AC Milan and Real Madrid have also expressed interest in Onyewu but he realizes he has a much greater chance to play regularly with Fulham.
Another likely transfer is Reyna from Manchester City to MLS (likely Red Bulls).
