Denard Walker

The Vikings have granted Denard Walker permission to seek a trade. He is under contract for three more seasons and has started and played the nickel role in Minnesota. Is he worthy of sending our 5th or 6th round pick to Minnesota for his services? Would he be a useful player in a rotation with Macklin, Starks, and Hill?

He is considered a "bust" in Minnesota and lost his starting cb position during the season. He may be cut. Would be a good pickup then to add depth.

He was hurt most of this year. He played well for Chicago.

Healthy or sick the dude cannot get separation. He flat out sucks.

As for when he was in CHI he was their 6th or 7th WR. I think he barely played in CHI let alone well.

I think the Vikes will win the NFC North this year. Winnfield will help their defense a lot. They need to improve their pass rush and need a good DE in the draft. (or trade). Their offense (with Denny's guys) will once again be explosive. Once you get into the playoffs, who knows, anything can happen.

Cards will be much better with Denny. I know that you and I agree on this. I really hope they get Fitzgerald or Mike Williams in the draft. He is going to put a much better team on the field than expected. He will have them in the playoffs in 2005. San Francisco is in decline; Rams are getting old; and Seahawks are inconsistent (but still good). The Cards will show good improvement this year and be in the hunt in 2005.
