Denzel Aberdeen commits to Kentucky basketball: What to know about transfer portal guard

LEXINGTON — Add another transfer portal guard to Kentucky basketball's 2025-26 roster.

And it's another former SEC player: Ex-Florida guard Denzel Aberdeen committed to coach Mark Pope and the Wildcats on Monday.

Aberdeen spent the past three seasons with the Gators.

Aberdeen is the fifth player the Wildcats have gained from the transfer portal this offseason: Former Tulane wing Kam Williams committed March 28, ex-Pittsburgh guard Jaland Lowe joined April 5, followed by former Alabama forward Mouhamed Dioubate on April 7 and ex-Arizona State forward Jayden Quaintance on April 8.
