How can Clement keep retaining his postion? The guy had a terrible year and is getting schooled in camp!

Cameron Spikes I'm not even going to comment on.

I guess Shelton really is that bad... Isn't he Denny? Worse than Clement who gets beat all day. What a load of rubbish!

DG is being too stubborn, I guess we will have to wait and see when Davis is getting beaten on the edge by a couple of RDE before he insert back LJ to LT spot.

Biggest surprise was that there were no surprises on that latest depth chart.

Other than, perhaps, that injured players were listed last and their names put in parentheses - kind of a signal that if you're not ready to go, your position may not be real secure?

He must be related to Bernard Wilson.

If Fordyce is any good at Punting/Kicking..... cut Player & Rackers..... He needs to be equal to both..... then we have an extra spot to use at another position

What the heck does x-wr, z-wr, and h-wr mean? Which is slot?

Well, if my ESPN NFL 2K5 formations are any guess, X is the solo reciever on the left side, H is on the right, inside and Z is on the right, outside.

XWR LT LG C RG RT TE HWR ZWR
...............QB
...............HB

My understanding was that x and h line up on the same side with h being in the slot, z is the deep threat/speed guy alone on the other side.

XWR HWR LT LG C RG RT TE ZWR
,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,QB

I hope you are kidding. Being 4th in the depth chart at FS is reciculous and he should be #1.

Another fabulous move by Green!

You notice the () around him. He was still on the PUP list when this list was made. Every injured player with a () is at the bottom of the depth chart, as they should, every team does that. He goes off the PUP he shoots right up to #2 FS just like before.

In my old football days, X receiver was the slot, Z was the wide out, with Y being the tightend, H , heck i dunno, H back or something maybe. I don't think Denny pays attention to ESPN NFL 2k5, but if Quan is not the slot, then what was all the HUBBUBB about moving him so he could get open more often this season?

What happened to Quan playing Slot?

(Parenthesis denote injury) for the previous guys question. No way Dexter Jackson is #4 if not injured, same with BJ.

Thanks for the updated list btw, I appreciate it, keep them coming.

***EDIT*** Thought I'd add, I could be wrong on the offensive crap, as I stuck to defense most of the time, offense was for the sissies ;)

The Cards have not even played one game yet, and the more I hear, the o-line is by far the weakest link. I watched a couple practices, and all I saw was the o-line going the wrong way. I just do not get the whole riff with LJ and Green. If its about BIG making LT money, is it the right decisoin to move him there just because of that. I trust Green in rebuilding this train wreck into a good team soon. This whole soap opera with Lj will end up one of two ways. He will eithier be back at LT because BIG fell on his face during the pre-season. Or LJ will be gone because of his contract, and that BIG passed the test in the coaches eyes. If they really want to get rid of LJ, at least trade him for a future pick or
player that can fill a void. I will hold my final decision until after the 3rd pre-season game. The first game they play half of the first quarter, not much of a look. Second game the first 2 quarters maybe. But the 3rd game its 3 quarters baby, and by then the true colors of this line will show, for better or worse.
