I can't believe they did this. Another dumb move. Hall has done nothing to deserve this. I was hoping Kendrick would clean house. I really hope Stewart and LaRussa are not next for an extension.

I'm not surprised by this. I think Hall keeps a lot of heat off KK so to him it is worth it.

Not only is the team underperforming, but also has significant attendance issues despite the relatively low cost to attend games and now a legal dispute with the stadium's landlord.

Hall is unqualified for his job. This is the exact opposite of what should happen to him.

They've been here for almost 20 years. That should be a long enough time to build up a fan base.

Hasn't happened though. Strong roots from the transplants. I have seen children and grandchildren being brought up as Dodger's, Red Wings, Steerler's etc. fans even though the parents were born here. Everyone loves a winner.

Hall is doing the best with what he's got... The problem isn't him. Fire him and out in anyone else and the results wouldn't be much different, maybe worse. The problem is Kendrick, period...
As for TLR and Stew, one of them should be on the hot seat and it ain't Tony. I would let them both remain until the trade deadline next season. By then, our injured players will have been back long enough to give a definitive indication as to whether or now this team is moving in a positive or negative direction... And if it's negative, Stew needs to go.

Nice to see Inciarte and Swanson both playing for the Braves today. Must be nice to have talented young players to give you hope that your team is moving in the right direction.

Braves fans must be really encouraged by their front office unloading a marginal pitcher for these 2 young talented players.

ATL has always had a first rate front office. Even in their current status they at least have hope for the future with their farm system which unfortunately ARZ has helped them out a lot with. Only move I really couldn't figure out is why they traded for Kemp and his huge salary.
