keim has a history of keeping about 5mil available through the season.... but we were sitting at around 2.7mil... so this just gets us back in his comfort zone

There are cuts of decent players this time of year as starters come off IR. Never hurts to have some wampum just in case.

If they bring Fitz back it would be a waste of money and a roster spot. Where would he fit in? What role can he contribute to that already isn't on the roster? What kind of playing shape would he be in? Who's snaps would he be taking? I thank Fitz for all the wonderful memories and highlights he gave us over the years but its time to just leave things as they are.

Seriously. And they’re going to bring him in as a... backup TE? Sorry. No.

My inner Walter Mitchell says 'we' are bringing Fitz back for the playoff run.

Some things would have to go wrong, but its not impossible.

Will AJ Green bounce back from Covid?
Will the team lose trust in Rondale and keep him in a gadget role?

And the major one.
What if Hopkins hamstring issues linger all year?

Hopefully things work out for the better though.

Fitz would turn around for a pass in the end zone....

I'd rather have Fitzgerald than anyone below Rondale......is there even disagreement?
