What a great game by Corbin. That was the most fun I've had listening to a game in a while. I was pulling for a complete game shutout because it would have been such a huge boost for the team, but I understand why TL pulled him; if the game got away from us, it would have been a huge blow to the team.

I'm glad they didn't score that an error. It could have gone either way when the outfielder booted the ball, but I think Descalso would have scored anyway, as he was already preparing to round third.

Corbin is incredibly frustrating...His good and bad swings are enormous... there is almost no in-between with him. He's either extremely good/great, or, he flat out sucks. Which tells me it's all a matter of what is happening/or not happening, between his ears.
We made 3 more errors today... no bueno and as we continue to move through the final stages of the season, this will be another issue that will likely haunt us, along with hitting with RISP - which, I believe is another "between the ears" issue...
Marte, his 2 errors today not-withstanding, is really becoming a solid presence at the plate. Seems like every at-bat he hits the ball hard!
