Diamondbacks signed LHP Jim Parque to a minor league contract and invited him to spring training.
Parque didn't pitch that badly for Triple-A Durham last season, going 5-7 with a 4.08 ERA in 21 starts, but since hurting his shoulder, he no longer seems to have the stuff to get major league hitters out. The Diamondbacks likely will only consider him as a reliever
