Dbacks lead 2-0 due to Cruz's HR.

Its a shame that nothing came out of that last inning. Estes staggers his way onto 1st after an error and then promptly gets his first career steal. Way to play possum Estes LOL

I guess the base-running wore him out becuase he gets the bases loaded and Jeff Kent hits a grandslam. Why do we ever pitch to that guy? He always seems to kill us

Dodgers now lead 4-2 :(

Estes walks the bases loaded then gives up the slam.

He can't even throw a strike to their weak hitters but to Kent he throws the fattest pitch of the season.

The ageless wonder strikes again with a 2 run HR and now the game is tied at 4.

What can you say about Tony Clark that hasn't already been said?

Valverde gives up 3 runs and now it's 7-4. Is there anyone in the bullpen that Melvin can rely on?

Props to Javy for not only his pitching but also his bat. Cormier is right now the best pitcher in the bullpen as he gets the win.

Cecil Fielder could tag from third on shallow fly ball to Gonzo.

Who was it on here that was so pleased we gave Ortiz a 4 year, $33 Million contract?

One thing both scouts and sabermetricians agreed upon last season was that Ortiz was done. I hated the signing at the time and I'm going to hate it even more when he's still walking everybody for $8 mil a year in 2008.

well he wasn't very good today. One thing that I didn't realize but our outfield isn't very good. They are slow and besides Green they can't throw.
The difference betwen us and the Dodgers is striking.

Four-fifths of the starting rotation has really come through. It's disappointing that Ortiz has not.

Especially when he's quoted in today's paper as saying he's feeling great and doesn't understand why he's giving up so many walks.
