The Nationals have basically the same record as the Dbacks.

If the Dbacks don't get their bats going they'll get swept.

Watching the D'backs give up 5 runs in the 8th inning and 7 more in the 9th to the Pirates was more depressing than a 13-inning 1-run loss.

Down 1-0 in the 4th. Once again man on third and less than 2 outs and they can't score. I like Tracy batting second.

I'm glad Gonzo got ejected. What the hell is he letting a pitch for strike three go by with the bases loaded and less than two outs? He screwed up in the first and now he screwed up in the 5th. Now Glaus makes the third out. This team right now is pathetic when it comes to men in scoring position and less than two outs.

3-0 now in the 6th. I have been watching the Suns and D'Backs but now I will focus just on the Suns. Maybe the Diamondbacks will do something when no one is watching.

Other than Cruz & Tracy, our hitters have started trying to hit 5 run HRs every time at bat, and it is killing any chance of scoring for us; Gonzo may have got pinched on his ejection pitch, but did he forget how to look for inside pitches?? Glaus doesn't hit to RF anymore, and is trying to pull everything......aaaaaaaugh, this is frustrating!!

Okay, Suns at commercial, switch to the D'Backs and Chad hits a home run. 3-2 now. Keep Chad at the 2 spot.

3-3 but freaking Carlos Baerga saves a run on a line drive by Clayton.

Valvarde blows it as the Nationals lead 4-3 and ready to make it 5-3.

Valverde comes in and gives the Nats a 4-3 lead....Clayton has 6 LOB tonight, although Baerga made a great play to prevent Clayton from getting a hit in the 7th.

That was close...Lopez somehow gets out of a bases loaded jam (3-0 count also) and gets a DP to end the inning.

Diamondbacks lose 4-3. I hope this team has hit rock bottom. Someone needs to carry this team. I would like to see Melvin get Gonzo out of the 3 spot and put him down lower in the batting order. Right now I hate seeing Gonzo up at the plate with men in scoring position. Please prove me wrong Gonzo.

Yup. The best way to hit HR's is to not try every at-bat.
