Did Anyone Get NCAA Football 08?

I'm hoping to pick this up at some point since Boise State is on the cover, and was wondering if any of you have got it yet? If so, what do you think of it?

I just barely got over my addiction to last year's game.

I got this game a few days ago and I love it online play is pretty smooth if you have a highspeed connection, dynasty mode and campus legend are also a lot deeper this year which is nice for example in campus legend you get to play in your highschool playoff games and the better you do the more top schools come out to see you Only thing I wish they wouldve added this year is co op mode and divison 2 schools but hopefully they add those in next year edition, because I love playing on the same team with friends in dynasty mode if its a big game and I also like building a division 2 school to a bigger powerhouse program but other then those two flaws its awsome game. It is also a little harder to pass this year since the defensive backs are a lot smarter and actually go for the ball this year unlike last years where they just stood their for the most part. So if your a college football fan I would defintally get this game my final score 9.0 its not a 10 because of no co op mode which is big for me and also not having div 2 schools in the game. But this is by far a lot better game then last year and defintally worth picking up.

I loved the NCAA games on Xbox so this is the next game I'm buying for PS3. Hopefully I can get that wifi adaptar to play online.

I learned my lesson not to trust my little brother and do my own research if I want it done right. But I'm very satisfied with it right now.

Strange fix that I found on another board:

Open and close the drive before you play. I've been doing this and haven't experienced any issues since. Apparently NCAA doesn't like being left in the drive. So, don't start your 360 with it in. If you do, just open and close the drive before loading the game.

Unfortunately, you'll get to enjoy slow, choppy, 30fps in Madden, APF, and NCAA. The PS3 versions of these games are a sluggish 30fps while the 360 versions are all locked at a smooth 60fps.

Why? I have no idea. I thought the PS3 was supposed to be 2-3x more powerful than the 360?

Which would be the same as the regular Xbox? It's no big deal for me right now in my low-def lifestyle. Xbox is better now, but the PS3 is newer so I'll wait on it and see what happens by next year when hopefully we'll have a nice new HDTV in the house to enjoy the video games on.

i'm saving up for a hdtv as well nasser which will mainly only be used for sporting events and video games sucks playing on a standard tv.... which type of brand were you thinking of getting?

I don't know. My little brother is actually the guy telling me and my parents what the best thing to get is. We are going to wait until all the bathroom remodeling is done and paid for and that's when we'll be seriously looking at TV's. Hopefully a nice, big 50' one.

It has the potential to be (it hasn't really shown the potential yet) but it is much more difficult to program for.

Combine that with the fact that EA has a nasty tendency to rush games and there you get the reasoning
