Did Anyone See Blake on Channel 12's 10pm?

Blake said something to the effect that"

"I felt something special when I walked through the door here."

Now we all know that free agents say positive things about the differecnt places they visit, but I have never heard anyone say it like that.

I think that Emmitt would respect a Blake signing. That is what the Cards want.

The Cardinals do. That was my point.

I don't think we need him, but I was conveying what I think the Cardinals want to see.

I know Im just one of the ones who really have ZERO desire to see this guy in a cards uniform for the obvious reasons!

About all I can say is I would rather have Blake than McCown. I thought Blake was playing well in New Orleans until his injury which would still be a concern.

Blake is a career 10 pts higher on the passing ratings than Plummer. Blake has better career numbers across the board.

Gotta agree with Shane.

It seems to me, signing Smith would be nothing but a PR move. Attempting to bring a few Cowboys' fans into the fold. So to speak.

The Cards need to build a Cardinals' fan base, by building a winner.

Unless Smith were to sign for close to the minimum (and be a back-up), I think he would be a bad investment. There are too many holes to fill, to be making moves that might be "popular" or PR based IMO.

After this first flurry of FA signings, and after June 1st, the Cards may be in a position to land a few good players.

Graves quote in AZCentral.com today says that the fact that we have been losers has made signing FAs tougher. I, for one, am glad someone in the Front Office acknowledges there is a problem.

Our problem is not winning. Pretty simple. The question you have to ask is "Does Emmitt make us a winner?". I don't think so. We are not going to make the playoffs because Emmitt is a Card. Who knows how if it will help or hurt the PR of this team. I know Cowboy fans and they hate the Cards. With a passion. I doubt we will win any of them over because Emmitt is a Card. They would probably start hating Emmitt for being a traitor.

I am mixed on Emmitt. But, I think he is only a short term addition and we need long term solutions.

Whoopee, with all the injured linemen and receivers we had last year you are now talking 5 points better. If thats the case you could see crowds in the low teens at SDS. I think Parsons could do better.
