on that punt that was killed within the one...what the $%$# was he doing falling and sliding on the ball?

bat it backwards you reject! It's not a fumble recovery.

A few miles north.
No need to bat it backwards. It was rolling away from the endzone and parallel to the sideline. There was no need for JJ to even touch it. :bang:

Speaking of Arrington, it looks like our kick returns are exactly the same as last year. JJ runs into the back of the wedge and everyone falls down in a big dog pile.

What's up with that?

I mentioned that about his returns on here during the game yesterday.

Now why he felt the need to dive and slide into that ball at the 2 yard line is beyond me. What an idiot.

I hate that rule anyway. If he were to slide 10 yards back with that ball, he couldn't down it from where he ended his slide. If the Cards first make contact with the ball, and they are not in the end zone, that's where the ball should have been spotted.

What the hell this guy is doing back there I don't know. He is not contributing to this team whatsoever. How anybody can think this guy is a player is beyond me.

We have to give him credit for the game vs. Seattle. Their returner ran to the right and got everyone to chase...he then swept back to the left and was about to go free. JJ held his place and forced him inside and back into the crowd. He did his job well then.

This one made he disconnected his brain from his body.

And the big 3rd and 2 reception in that game too that he got 12 on, that led to the game tying field goal. I like that Whis is using him in the right way, for the most part (swing passing, draw plays, etc.)

I agree, where the ball is first touched by the defensive player as long a the guy is not OB or in the end zone.
