Did my Yahoo account get hacked?

I got a bunch of mailer failure notices in my yahoo in box yesterday.

Apparently, all my contacts received an email to a phising website, which I did not send (but it's from my yahoo email).

Anyone else ever had this problem??

Happened to me...not anything you can really do about it except weed the junk out.

I finally gave up on Yahoo mail for just that reason. One day I had 1200 emails in 2 hours, failures and a bunch of people I didn't know asking me to take them off my mailing list I didn't have. Got to be overwhelming.

Mine did as well.... I had the email address for 10 years and all of a sudden one day, my password didnt work.

Resets, emails to admins..... Nothing. I emailed myself and a dude wanted $500 to give it back.

Almost certainly.

Change passwords everywhere immediately and delete the account

Yahoo cust svc said it may be a worm; I did a thorough anti-virus scan, Aware/Spy bot and cleared everything in the cache/cookies, but nothing was found.

I did change the password on the account. I'd hate to delete since that's the one I've had for more than 8 years.
