"The report states that a woman called police to report that loud music was coming from a vehicle in which a man and a woman could be seen exchanging money and a sandwich bag in the parking lot of an apartment complex. When police found the vehicle, there was "an odor of raw marijuana." The report said Jones was "becoming emotionally upset and he told the officers he was the first-round draft pick of the Packers last year."

It is amazing how dumb a kid who went to college can be. Duh, I'm the first round pick of the Chiefs, Cowboys, no wait......the Packers. Can't I use my get out of jail card now?

It should be obvious by now that we should have a Dummy Law that gives people who are this stupid a pass. One should have to be so smart before they are held responsible for their decisions. I mean we pay and support a million people in our country who are too dumb to have got an education when they had a chance, get a job, use protection when having sex, or use their brain to be a success at anything in their lives. We have a whole welfare system set up to forgive and support those kind of people. Why shouldn't it apply to the mentally handicapped college student the NFL uses to amass their fortunes.

Actually, it is amazing how unsophisticated sone NFL observers can be if they cannot realize that new players are being coached by their agents and players union to cooperate and admit their guilt when they get caught with their first strike.

If you get caught for an infraction and lie about it, they treat you far worse and punish you more. If you admit your stupid ass mistake when you get caught for a he first time, you go to drug class, get counseling, and if you stay clean, all is forgiven.

Clearly, the tactic of deny everything and keep quiet onlyworks for little kids on the playground, since the NFL uses the hammer when you get caught lying and denying your wrong doing and is much more lenient for first timers.

Case in point is how Washington's punishments escalated from an initial slap on the wrist until he got suspended without pay when he refused to stop and control his druggie habits.
