lol....forgot about that one.

I plan on watching the draft on NFL Network this year. ESPN's draft coverage is terrible.

Was he bashing the Cardinals draft last year when he said that? I knew he couldn't hold Mayock's jock but to be completely wrong about an awesome Cards draft should force him to get a real job.

I remember it. He said it on draft day and I laughed at the time. Someone who makes such a ridiculous analysis clearly has no idea what he is talking about. To get the number 1 pick we were to have Bern headed for 0-16 to 3-13. It was a completely ignorant comment coming from a self professed expert

Well if you look at it like a circle he was pretty close, 32nd, 1st, right next to each other!

We will have the first pick after we trade Boldin to Detroit.
If only the Lions would make that deal. Don't think you're going to get the #1 overall pick for Q. At least now that Matt Millen is gone...

Just move up enough to take Michael Crabtree. Q problem solved.

WR is not a position for the Cards need to worry about even if Q is shipped.

There was a lot of similar talk when Denny Green drafted Fitzgerald.
Accusations of helping a family friend out, Buddy Ryan jokes, etc.

At this point I'm thrilled with the depth on the team all the way down to Morey.

But I'm not gonna bat an eye if they decide to draft someone else, even if everyone on the roster comes back next year.

I'm always in favor of BPA in the draft and fill needs through FA. I just don't see how they could justify the cost of moving so far up in the draft to get Crabtree.

Guys like Gabe Watson and Alan Branch were predicited as sure thing/top ten picks around this time when they declared. They... slid.

As crazy as it sounds, it's possible that Crabtree slides too. Improbable certainly, but still possible. And I suppose I was thinking WR in general vs Crabtree in specific.

I remember that Kiper line on draft day, and I think it was a knee jerk reaction from him. Probably, though to himself 'need to name a bad team' and the Cards were the first thing to pop into his head. At least his team the Ravens is out.
