It was so sad to see both Dierdorf and Dobler to be walking out on the field with canes for the Ring of Honor celebration for Dierdorf.

Spending 10+ years as an NFL OL certainly takes its toll.

We do, however, need to put Dobler's teeth on the ring of honor.

You have to wonder what's going to happen to today's players who carry 75 or 100 lbs more than those two did when they played. What we're seeing is a long term physiology experiment. I suspect, in about 10 years, we'll start seeing some bad outcomes.
