DiNardo dominated at the plate, delivering a career-high five RBIs while Bahl commanded the pitching circle, firing a season-high 13 strikeouts. DiNardo started the game off with a grand slam in the first, putting Nebraska up in a comfortable 4-0 lead.

DiNardo then followed it up with an RBI double in the fifth, finishing 2-for-3 on the night. Ava Bredwell also delivered two hits, going 2-for-4 in the win with two runs. Ava Kuszak, Kacie Hoffman and Bella Bacon each drove in one hit as well.

The Huskers finished the game with seven hits, while Omaha managed just one. Bahl (13-3) meanwhile shut down the Mavericks, allowing only one hit and two runners on base runners. She also retired the final 17 batters of the game, capping off her fourth double-digit strikeout game.
