DirecTV problem

My one DirecTV box had the wire ripped out of the back of it. (How this happened, I have no freaking clue.) So, now I'm only getting the ticket in one room instead of two.

Can this be fixed? I really don't want to have to get a new box since I will only be using it for another five weeks. Help me.

Is it the coax cable that was ripped out? If so is it the cable running from the dish or is it the cable running to the TV?

Good question. Will have to look into that. My sister actually discovered the problem during the Cards game. I wasn't about to check it out then. I think it is the cable from the DirecTV box to the TV.

You might have to take digital pictures to show us. Worst case scenerio, I have 2 spare DirecTV units I can spare for you. Just switch your access card with the one in it and go

Directv has fallen in my estimation over the last few days. We moved this week and I've been trying to get service hooked up. It ain't been easy. I wish NFL Ticket was available over cable.

Quit kicking the DirecTV reciever during the Cardinal games...the score isn't the fault of the electronics.
