This is a fantastic show, and part of the alure is Bill Nye (the Science Guy) is the host.

Every episode focuses on a different branch of science and the landmark advancements. So far I've seen "Medicine" and "Physics."

Great Bill Nye (the Science Guy) line when talking to a professor about gravity:

Prof: "If it weren't for this force, we'd go hurtling through space at thousands of miles per hour."

BNTSG: "That'd be surprising!"

Have I missed it, or is it a miniseries? What time is it on? I will add it to my DVR list.

It's a regular series, I think. It's on the HD Discovery, so if you don't have the HD package that may be why you're not seeing it (or maybe it's also on the reg. disc., I dunno)...

Here's a link to some listings:
http://dhd.discovery.com/tvlistings/series.jsp?series=110038&gid=0&channel=DHD

They don't seem to have link to a show synopsis. :|

I have the HD package, and I am trying to get more use out of it. I have been primarily using it for sports. The Discovery HD is easily one of the best for PQ.
