Cant knock him too much. He showed up late (so did Shanahan) and Love (Lafleur) choked it away in the 4th Qrt with some of the playcalling/execution.

Purdy may very well be Jake Delhomme for all we know. However, Delhomme with the 49ers/Shanahan would be really good. So it is what it is. Good on them for winning.
