Do playoff teams draft before us if we dont make playoffs?

That would suck.. some drafts have us picking No 26 even if we dont make playoffs based on a 11-5 record.

I thought we would pick No 20 as the 12 playoff teams would pick after us.. I am confused.. can someone clarify..No 20 and 26 could mean the impact LT for us..

No, not even if we had more regular season victories. Playoff teams draft after non playoff teams. Superbowl teams draft last etc.

When we were 9-7 and SB runners up, we drafted 31st, after lots of teams with better regular season records than us.

We will be #20 in all likelihood.

As your surmised and others have posted if the Cards don't make the playoffs we will be pick 20th in rd1. Any mocks that have us picking 26th either believe we get into the playoffs or they are incompetent.

That is only true in rounds 2-7, I think. In the first round, WC losers still pick after all non playoff teams.
