Do you channel surf up or down?

I just started channel surfing in the "down" direction and it felt really weird.

I guess I usually go "up" without thinking about it.

So I thought I'd post a pointless thread. Thanks!

I surf up, but have the dish remote set up so when I press the "up" button, it changes to the next highest channel. My hubby says that that is backwards? He says that it should be the other way around. I disagree. I went to my best friends house and when you press the channel button that is pointed up (towards the infrared spots) it goes to the next lower channel. Am I mixed up or are they?!?!?!?!

See, that's another area that my hubby says I'm backwards! On our Dish remote, I have the guide set up so when I'm in the guide, if I press the down arrow, it goes to the next larger channel. So I guess my mind is just all confused on the channel surfing department! LOL!

Neither. I go around. I know what channels are likely to hold something of interest, so I go to those...NFL Channel, ESPN, Discovery(s), History, etc...

Hmm, it depends. Mostly up I guess.

With digital cable I don't have to change the channel to surf so it depends on what channel I am starting from.
