I don't know if it was a result of him getting hit, but I figured right away that he flashed back to playing for the Rams when he threw the pick in the endzone. There is no other explanation for that throw.
You are really strecthing this thing. Getting hit like that and the last game he tried to put the game on his shoulders. That's why he's holding the ball so long, he wants to win.
Were any of you bringing that up after the first game when he won NFC player of the week? The man wants to win and he knows what it takes. If he see's that all the parts are not there ( and it didn't take that long to see it) he wants to do what it takes to win.
Kurt is a winner. He didn't get bad when he arrived in AZ or NY. But he's an easy target now. He is fumbling a lot lately. Perhaps it's because he wants to make a play before getting slammed to the turf. Address the line and lets revisit this subject.
Oh, and Leinert may do OK now just based on the fact that he came from a winner in college and he is very cool in the pocket. Let him live through a porous line for a while and see how he handles it. It's too early for Matt. Lets give Kurt a break and let Leinert learn from him. Matt has stated himself how fortunate he is to have that advantage.
Bad loss today. No doubt the strangest game I've seen in years. Made possible by being a Cards fan. But this year so far we are in every game. No blow outs and we have the chance to win. For that reason alone we need to keep Denny. This organization has hd the semi-quick hook for years and where are we?
