Do you think the Diamondbacks will be active at the Waiver Deadline?

I'm absolutely shocked some of these guys were put on the wire to begin with.. I'd take half of the Philly crew (Madson and Wagner) in a heartbeat, same with BJ Ryan.

Some of the guys who went through waivers, that could be had on the cheap who I wouldn't mind seeing are Looper or Fogg.

Well, it would be extremely difficult to get some of these guys anyways, because if you stick a guy on waivers and somebody claims him, the original team can just pull him back off. I really dont think we are going to be making any waiver deals. At least, thats how I think it works, no?

That is correct. Teams will sometimes try to slip a player through waivers to see what kind of interest they get and when they see what the interest is, pull back..

Ones who pass through waivers usually get traded for small peanuts.
