Does anyone know anything about getting a job with the Cards?

I was looking on the Cardinals' website to see if they had any positions open, more or less anywhere. I know Jim O works there, but I didn't want to pester him.

Long story short, I couldn't find an employment area on the Cardinals' site, but I wanted to know if anyone was privy to any information about it before I drove over to the training facility.

I've driven plenty of places looking for jobs, only to be told, "Our application's online."

Thanks in advance guys.

I'm guessing they'll be accepting applications for Head Coach and Vice President Football Operations in the next three or four years. Get your resume in early. :D

I was at an educational institute computer professionals conference a number of years ago in Denver, shortly after they won their first Superbowl. The keynote speaker was the IT director from the Broncos.

It was awesome. The technology he described was so cool, talking about digitizing game film, assisting the coaches and management with all of this, I walked out of there thinking "THIS IS WHAT I WANT TO DO". On top of this, the Broncos gave every staff member a Superbowl ring. This fellow computer nerd was wearing a freaking Superbowl ring! How I envied him.

Years later, I've found it's just about impossible to get a (good) job with an NFL team, unless you know someone that can get you in. I still really want an IT job with an NFL team, preferably the Cardinals, but I know it's not realistic.

If you're looking for a front office position, and your last name isn't Bidwill, you'll have to agree to have a lobotomy (Sp?).

I got mine in a few years back. This year, I finally got the letter..

"Dear Jason,

We thank you for qualifying for our Head Coaching, GM and Vice President of Football Operations Position.

Although we found your resume and credentials to be very impressive, we've decided to hire someone who meets our philosophical needs.

This is a high turnover position, so we will keep your name and resume on file for three to four years, which is the normal turnover rate on the job, and will keep you at the top of our wish list if anything immediately comes up.

Best regards and thank you for applying for employment with the Arizona Cardinals."
