I watched the Cal/USC game on Saturday and I thought Cal's offense was damn near perfect and they still couldn't win.

Does ASU have a chance to win on Saturday???

Excellent thread question. I was pondering this on the "throne" at lunch. Seems to me that ASU appears to have the talent to win the game. Will they? It will be tough. I don't want to jinx them, so I won't make a prediction.

I thought Cal's offense fumbled multiple times? You call that near perfect? :D

Cal drove the field against USC, they pretty much wrote the game plan for ASU this Saturday. USC isn't as strong as they were last year IMO......

ASU needs to play a very good game, USC needs to make some mistakes, but USC is definitely beatable this year. For all intents and purposes, they could have lost to Virginia Tech, who got screwed by that terrible pass interference call, Stanford, who was leading in the fourth, and Cal, who made many costly errors. I am going to the game, and will yell my ass off, and probably piss some USC fans off. I say a 40 percent chance of victory.

At this point, I saw Aaron Rogers is the best QB in football right now. What a game he played on Saturday

I think the Devils D could keep them in it. If they can create turnovers.

Their offense is what scares me. Going into it with 1 "experienced" RB is frightening.

Andrew Walter (in my mind) has only had 1 complete game (Iowa). His timing hasn't been consistent.

That being said, who knows how the coaches have been planning. I'm sure the tape of Cal will help.

If ASU wins, Dirk Koetter is a witch... and will be mentioned in rumors NFL openings.

(How's that for keeping the reverse-pyschology thinking alive.)

Chandler AZ.
From the Trib

in 1978 USC was ranked 2nd. They had 38 players on the roster who played in the NFL! Among them were Marcus Allen, Anthony Munoz and Ronnie Lott.
Devils won 20-7.
No. 1 Nebraska, 1996, Devils win 19-0.
Seems these are the types of games SunDevil history and legend are made of. Of course they have a chance. The question is, how much will the upset be by?
