The Indians-Yankees game was interrupted by a swarm. No, it wasn't locust, it was mosquitoes or gnats. Either way, the Yankee's stud Joba Chamberlain was clearly distracted by the swarm and allowed one run on no hits. The problem is that the Yankees led by 1 run at that point.

The Indians tied the game and forced extra innings. The Yankees could not answer.

The Indians scored in the 11th. Game over.

Can an act of God be interpreted as anything other than a curse on the Yankees?

What a douche bag this guy is.. He's from Cleveland, plays for the Cavaliers yet goes to a Indians game wearing a Yankees hat then rubs it in everyones face..

Just another reason it warms my heart to see the Yankees lose..

The proof that God hates the Yankees... Money is the root of all evil, and the Yankees success.

And the Red Sox, Angels, Stl. Cards....:)

Hey Muli....The Cards are one of the cheapest successful franchises. As opposed to the Gridbirds who are one of the cheapest un-successful franchises.

I was going to post that but you know, I didn;t. :)

I too would have posted that, but truth is - God has forgiven us of our 'one-time' sin, and embraces us now. Thus demonstrated by the recent success of our young, cheap team.

Ok, I'm a Lakers fan, but that's a total douche move right there. You are a freaking Cleveland staple...a celebrity in the city...don't be a hemorroid to your city.

At least Matt Leinart didn't come in Lakers gear to the playoffs last year; and he isn't even FROM Phoenix. He just has a clue.

I spoke to God. He didn't even realize the game was on. Pretty much ignored baseball the last 100 years, which explains why the Yankees have won 26 titles.

Wow, that was very good... that would also explain why the Cubbies haven't won in nearly 100 years, right?

Steinbrenner has announced that Joe Torre will not be back as Manager if they Yankees don't beat Cleveland (with them down 2-0). As always, The Boss' timing is impecible.

I think Joe should not be Chicken Catcher Torre, and tell Steinbrenner to stuff it when the New York Hankees are eliminated.

He played in the NL. As a baseball purist, I believe he belongs back in the NL.

What?
Just asked God and he said this...

"Yes, I hate the Yankees, and New York in general for that matter. It just didn't seem worth the time to intervene most years, D-backs WS not included. :D Loved that Aura and Destiny face plant. Sometimes the evil just baits me you know? And yeah, I'm thinking Lebron is getting a bit ahead of himself. Hate to use the term asshat but, i did invent all words so it's ok to use them."

So there you go.
