Any LSU fans out there , who know about the stink emanating from LSU and Nick Saban over recruit buying? I've heard a story about a South Florida HS athlete, whose Grandma's mortgage disappeared and got herself a brand new ride when her grandson, who she raised, signed on with LSU.

And Miami is squeaky clean?

D1 football especially is totally corrupt. This stuff happens all the time. I find it too hard to believe it is a coincidence all the top recruits in the nation end up at many of the same schools. Lots of under the table deals out there.

Did I imply or state Miami wasn't. I asked a question, hoping someone from LSU country could answer and give me some insight. Instead , I get your unrelated answer. Gee, thanks.

Your initial post is fairly typical of most college football fans. Critiquing the cleanliness of other programs while turning a blind eye to their own house. I apologize for my attack of Miami but the rest of my post stands. D1 football is corrupt.

Actually, I follow SEC football closely during the football season but hadn;t heard a peep about LSU until your post.

I didn't critique it. I was asking if there was any validity to the story? I'll repose the question if it was not perceived that way. I concur and agree with your statement concerning Div. I football corruption. The reason for my asking is because I have been following an SEC corruption investigation for awhile and this is the first concrete story I have heard involving LSU. The mainstream story I refer to is an ongoing investigation by a Memphis based task force and it is getting real stinky.

1) That has booster written all over it.
2) How is Saban supposed to do anything about it? How is he even supposed to know about it?

The storyline I have been following takes his laissez-faire attitude back to MSU.

He could always take the Terry Bowden route and have his life threatened, dog killed and wife trashed by the Auburn faithful. Some choice.

You're not really that naive.
