Calais Campbell is heading back to where his NFL career began in 2008. The 17-year veteran is signing with the Arizona Cardinals, the team that drafted him in the second round 17 years ago.
Campbell spent last season with the Dolphins, starting all 17 games and recording five sacks to go with 52 tackles. It was his third straight season with at least five sacks and his 14th straight year with at least 10 quarterback hits.
He’ll turn 39 years old on September 1, making him one of the oldest players in the NFL. Campbell is a six-time Pro Bowler and was named an All-Pro in 2017 when he was named the PFWA Defensive Player of the Year.
