Former San Francisco 49ers coach Mike Nolan has been hired as the Miami Dolphins' defensive coordinator. The Dolphins hired Nolan on Tuesday, less than 24 hours after the announcement of his departure as defensive coordinator for the Denver Broncos. Nolan replaces Paul Pasqualoni, who was fired after two seasons.
