The Seattle Seahawks may have to look elsewhere to find some depth at the nickelback. Veteran free agent Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie was supposed to work out with the Seahawks on Sunday. However, Cromartie texted ESPN’s Josina Anderson and let her know that he did not attend the workout, citing family issues. Cromartie has been linked to the Seahawks for a while now. Currently, Seattle’s only real slot cornerback is Justin Coleman. DeAndre Elliott was expected to serve as the backup, but he was released with an ankle injury that was slow to heal. That leaves Seattle very thin at a critical position in their defensive scheme. It is still possible that Cromartie re-schedules and that Seattle ends
