Wilkins set the standard for returning from a torn Achilles tendon, averaging 29.9 points in his first season back (1992-93) at age 32. Durant, 31, is nearly seven months removed from his Achilles injury on June 10, 2019. Durant is a two-time NBA Finals MVP, regular-season MVP, four-time scoring champ and 10-time All-Star.
