Nice.

Great minds think alike.

What do you think the Cap will be ?

It will at least give us 10 mil more than we already have

Not to pee on anybody's parade, but it also gives everyone ELSE 10 million more on the cap.

Anywhere from 104 to 108. Most likely 105.

Also dont forget teams can only pro rate a bonus over 5 years this year with the new CBA, 6 Years next year, and goes back to 5 years every year after that.

So although teams will now have cap space to work with the teams with more money are still in the advantage since you cant pro rate a deal over 7 years for some of the bigger FA's and deals which will take a lot of cap space away on the alrger deals.

I think it is only a small disadvantage. We can still offer more money then most other teams.

Our Pie is still bigger then other teams.:D

Vote was 30 to 2. Buffalo and Cinci the two no's. Interesting.

That is interesting.

I wonder which teams proposal they used, or if they used a combo of the 4 on the table.

My guess would be the combo. Vic Carrucci(sp?) said that one of his insiders called the new deal "incredibly complicated"

Has ESPN said that FA period will start tommorow or Thursday like they stated before if a new CBA deal was approved.

Schefter said earlier tonight that, if the deal was consummated, the cap deadline and FA period could be pushed back til early Friday.
