KT didn't want to pay Ian Kennedy a 29 year old pitcher with a 3.98 career ERA and 3.43 2014 ERA to a whopping 4.5 million dollar 1 year contract, so instead we go sign Bronson Arroyo, a 37 year old pitcher with a 4.22 ERA and 6.03 2014 ERA to a 2 year 23.5 Million dollar deal..

Ian Kennedy wasn't gritty enough. What don't you understand?

Sarcasm, obviously!

Whats even odder is that Towers was ticked that our pitchers were not beaning enough hitters last year, not doing enough eye for an eye. Said this winter that if guys didnt bean people he'd look to ship them off.

Yet, Kennedy was BY FAR our most head hunting pitcher, and he got ran out of town on a rail.

Towers' philosophy on team construction is about as consistent as my bowels.

I get pissed every time I think about the team that took the Brewers to 7 a few years back. A young team loaded with potential and a great farm system.

Now? A bunch of overpaid vets (excuse me, "grinders") and a farm system nowhere near as good.

Thanks Towers.
