We didn't see a whole lot of him in the preseason. I know he was injured, but I'm wondering if there's more to it. Remember, Boldin's rookie year McGinnis and crew hid him and then unleashed the Quan vs the Lions.

Last I checked (and its been a while) Doucet wasn't even the number 3. Could he be our secret weapon again the 9ers?

I'd be very surprised if he is active on Game Day. One of the six WR's will have to be inactive and I'm guessing it will be Early. I would love to see him play but it will probably come down to Urban and Doucett, as Breaston and Morey are intergral special Teamers.

Great thought but I don't think so. Doucet was injured most of the preseason. Boldin wasn't injured, we just knew we had lightning in a bottle.

As Steve Mariucci said first "Who is THAT guy?" and then later "CAN WE GET THAT FIXED?"

I think he has a chance to be active this week, since he's now had a few weeks of practice under his belt, with Urban then made inactive. And if Branch is active, and I think he will be, then I'm guessing Iwebema will go on the inactive list. JJ and Tim Castile might also switch positions.
