Over at CNNSI, Dr Z has his "sleeper" picks for all pro --

out of 27 players he identified -- three of them are Cardinals:

Gerald Hayes, Eric Green and Adrian Wilson. Pretty good for a 1-7 team.

I like Eric Green and believe he is really progressing well, but selecting him for all pro is a little to premature I think...

I agree all-pro is a bit much but he has turned into a very very good player.

Eric Green has had an unreal year. I havn't looked at the numbers lately but if he keeps it up, he could get some attention for all-pro. I havn't seen a Cardinals DB completely shut down his assignments the way he did in the Bears game. Anything thrown his way was batted away, or he knocked the crap outta the guy, or he dropped a int :bang: .

Overall, Eric Green has been great this year. He's been so good that if we can get a decent DB through free agency or the draft we can then justify moving Rolle to FS. I still want to see how Rolle will perform with a real defensive coordinator. Playing 15 yards of the WR puts you in a immediate hole.

hah

Dr. Z wants to like the Cards. It's pretty hard though unless you drink the koolaid.

I would've been endangering a lot of people if I had to buy season tix this season. Luckily I figured out they would sell out. So I can drink my kool-aid (mexican cerveza w/ tequila shots) here at home while I watch the games.

Most mondays my liver is about to explode and my kidness hurt so bad I can't sit.

Huh. For a while I had a theory that SWD was Dr. Z, but with the Hayes pick I guess I need to start working on another theory.

How can you attribute Rolle's poor play to the same DC who Eric Green is thriving under?

Rolle either is a slow learner and needs more time to adjust to the NFL game, or he's a bust. I would like to see Rolle as FS though.

It's funny, because it seems Eric Green has developed into the exact player we thought we'd be getting in Rolle. Physical as hell, knocking WR's around like rag dolls, great in run support, shutting down WR's for the most part. Rolle just hasn't developed as quickly as the #8 pick needs to.
