Draft Day Activities.

OK. We know there will be a draft party (details repeated after this message). What about other stuff?

ASFN - I assume this bulletin board will be hopping after each pick. Skkorp - Technology permitting - Would it make sense to pre-post threads to keep the traffic organized? Something like - "Draft Day Official Mock Drafts" (I smell a contest), "What's Going on at Jacksons?", "JPG Photos From Jacksons", How'd You Feel About the Suggs Pick?" , "Who Do You Want the Cards to Select With Our Next Pick?" "Experts' Comments on Each Cardinal Selection - broken down by player"

BRS - Barring catastrophe (or one of Mrs *'s conflicting social obligations) I plan to post player capsules and updated draft boards after every Cardinal pick.

Any other thoughts? Is there a way to download beer?

Jeff: next week I'll plan this out more but

right now, the plan is for Mike O and I to be at the Cards headquarters in the media room. Mike will have his laptop and I'll have a camera. We will have a phone line assigned to us and will stay on all day.

Jo Sparkes and Ian, and I'm sure, many others, will be at Jackson's on 3rd. I'm going to try to set several people up with phone line access there.

Hopefully, Harry Greene will be available in the chat room. (I'll ask him this weerk)-.

Jim Omohundro will be there and will no doubt get all the best stuff.

Ideas are welcome. I didn't have the foresight to ask the Cards for giveaways. Next year we'll dio far better.

I'm gonna be up in Phoenix that weekend for a basketball tournament at ASU called "Blazeketball". The tournament I think starts around noon on Saturday. I'll try to make it to some of the draft party!

Man, there is nothing I would rather do more than be in a chat room with you guys for the draft. However, I have a fishing tournament that day and I'll be gone all day long. I know it's not as exciting to most people (myself included) but I'll be in the chat room on day 2. Who's with me?

On the morning of the 26th of April, I will be expecting breakfast in bed from the lil' lady, maybe some mornin' love. Get out of bed, maybe shower. Open up my cards and start watching the draft. I will be praying to God that Mr. Suggs drops to the Cards. When the Cards pick him, I will go back to bed for some more lovin', and call it a day. What a way to spend ones' birthday (4/26/71)!

I'll be here and watching the draft, although I know little about all these college players that everyone will be picking and talking about. I have been paying attention to the news and all the posts on this board though, so maybe (and that is a HUGE maybe) I'll have something interesting to say. (They say wonders never cease.)
