OMG I Hate the fact that I LOVE TED GINN!!!

Call me The Lions GM Matt Millen, but that is the guy I want...

NOBODY could stop Leinart with those 3 recievers.

Sure they could. Ginn has some dropsies, and he runs too east-west a lot, especially on returns.

Edit: I have seen little of him; this comes directly from OSU fans I know.

With the mob
If we don't draft Adrian Peterson if he's still available than this team's front office is compiled of the biggest morons in the NFL.

There, I said it.

I'm on record.

AP is going to be a star.

He's not a little girl like Arrington and he is a breakaway threat unlike Edge.

Shoguns also jocking another Florida St. player- Timmons. He was right about Simms (although everyone on this board will agree that Leinart was a great pick, even if Simms were available) and could be right about Timmons/Nelson. However, their not elite enough prospects for us to take at #5. If we had the 10th pick, I would love to get a hold of Nelson. The guy is a shut down FS who would fit perfectly into our defense

Your a homer for Florida players.... lol

Ernie Sims last year now this guy.
I'm not a homer for Florida guys as I am a proponent of throwing different names out there for us to chew on instead of the "usual suspects". It's just a coincidence they're all from Florida. :)

Good heavens. Is it wrong that the thought of Ginn on this team makes me lightheaded?

Nope, I still think 5 is probably high for him if you consider him a WR, but if you consider the whole package you can sure make an argument that he'd be a great pick.

As Clif says this team has a distinct lack of speed, and a guy like Ginn would be scary as a speed WR and return man.

He's on a short list of skill players I'd be perfectly happy taking even if they're not a primary need.

Add your own links...as I see them I'm compiling them in the first post. I know as it gets closer to the draft more vids will come out so I want to get a headstart on this project I accidentally but happily started.

Yep...if he were just a WR then he's not worth it, too inconsistent. But as a KR/PR/3WR he's a threat on special teams, and a speed threat on offense (he may drop it, but you have to cover him because he will beat you.) The stuff that could happen in this O for Fitz, Q and Edge is sick with a speedster like that, and the short fields he can give in the special teams game...well damn.

If he has a Nat Championship game like his Fiesta Bowl last year, he may just be our pick at 5.
