Have only watched him play against Kansas State but I see a guy who is smart and extremely accurate(especially on deep balls) with the feet of the current Michael Vick. Draft this guy instead of Luck. ;)

With the amount of holes this team has, you trade down and stock pile picks and get a real GM to use those picks.

After seeing what Atlanta and gave up for Julio Jones i'd be up for that. Cincy has two 1st round picks and maybe they'll want to move up for Trent Richardson or something.

Griffin will be a very good NFL QB and will get lost in the whole Luck hype during the draft

The Luck hype is ridicolous. I don't really see much that makes him stand out from the others considering his team overall is so much better than any other team in his conference.

You do know he is the reason Stanford is a great team right. That team has barely any talented playmakers. They basically use a bunch of backup lineman as tight ends and he makes them look good. Stanford without Luck is a 4-5 win team.

He only has one of the best offensive lines in the country and a defense that shuts down every team he plays.

How about WRs?

Chris Owusu is an extremely underrated WR who should be selected in the mid rounds.
Doug Baldwin was undrafted this year and leading the Seahawks in receiving years over guys like Sidney Rice and Zach Miller.

Nope, this is going with a lot with reports with other people. I just had to watch him to see for myself.

It is pretty funny though. People are frustrated so they say outlandish things. No reason to get up tight. 32 out of 32 GM's would take Luck over Griffin, not even debateable.

You're right it's probably a coincidence that Stanford goes to a bowl game for the first time in 10 years when Andrew Luck arrives. Now they're likely going to back to back BCS bowl games for the first time in school history with Andrew Luck at the helm. Also the best 3 year winning % in school history with Andrew Luck playing quarterback. Please just stop this.

Compare Luck/Stanford with Peyton/Colts. Without Luck, that team goes back to mediocrity, just like the Colts did without Manning. Luck calls the plays at the line, he puts that team in a position to succeed. No other QB in the country actually runs their entire offense like Luck does, he is the sole reason why they are a top 10 team. I guess you're smarter than any other coach, analyst, scout, GM etc... Luck gets the hype because he IS that good....Don't be ridiculous.

RUN BLOCKING OL yes, not pass blocking.

Owusu is hurt all the time and drops the ball too much, huge disappointment he came in looking like a great player, insane KO return guy, but he got hit a few times and became a gunshy player.

Baldwin has been a surprise but Stanford is a running team, Luck doesn't get to air it out much.

They have good TE's I think 2 of them will play on Sundays, but if Luck got hurt Stanford would struggle to win games with the backup QB.

Psst, your ignorance is showing. My vote for the least informed post of the year.

Whiile I get your point RGIII isn't a one year wonder. He got hurt one year on his way to a great season. He'll be good but isn't an Andrew Luck type talent

Griffin has the same head coach as Kolb did at Houston. It's a system offense that will make most QB's look amazing, but once they play a good defense, they are as average as can be. Colt Brennan and Graham Harell had amazing stats in college, but once they got in a real Pro-Style offense, they were horrible. I think Griffin would fall into the same category.

Yes he is.

Do any of you know where Baylor was as a football team before he arrived? They hadn't had a winning season since 1994 before going 7-5 last year.

The guy is better than Cam Newton.

If Texas hadn't been so stupid he'd be taking them to another BCS Championship this season.

You could have said the same thing about Cam Newton last year with the system offense bs. The thing that separates Griffin from those guys is his arm, Harrell and Brennan had noodles for arms. Griffin throws passes all over the field with incredible touch, accuracy and zip.

Eh I still like Luck as a pro style QB and his accuracy is beyond reproach. RGIII is a great talent but still not as heady as Luck IMO

Griffin is certainly a better passer than Newton, but not near the athletic specimen or strength that Newton has. I personally thought Cam was going to be a back-up in the NFL, because of the type of offense he ran in college, and his accuracy was horrible. Griffin has shown the arm and accuracy to be good, but his decision making is still questionable, and in terms of next years draft, he's still behind Luck, Barkley, and Jones.

Good maybe we can get him.
