UPDATE: It is indeed a left knee injury and officially, his return is doubtful. Obviously, the Cards are praying his return this season isn’t doubtful.

A dislocated kneecap could be career threatening for a slower CB. If that is what happened then I really feel for him because that is a baaaad injury.

Could be just a deep bruise. It seems like he would have been in excruciating pain if it were a dislocation.

Its a bruise... assuming they did Xrays to rule out any fractures or dislocations.. They then throw it under the umbrella of contusion which could be anything...
