They are both owned by the same company.

Rockband is Harmonix, MTV and EA.

Guitar here is neversoft, red octane and Activision.

Activision bought out red octane, when that happened Harmonix went to Rockband.

Noone even talks about GH anymore, its all rockband, itll stay that way too. The songs are cheaper, sell more, the layout, presentation blow GH away along with solo percentage and being able to keep your star power rolling throughout a song all make it a lot better.
