Dreamweaver question

Hey guys,

I am setting up dreamweaver on my new PC and am trying to configure my server so I can upload directly from dreamweaver.

I put in my server name, login information and password and I keep getting a little beep that says that it cannot connect....

Anything I am doing wrong that anyone can think of???

Make sure you have the right folder path and that your computer can resolve the server name correctly.

Try pinging the server by name or try the server IP instead of the name.

What are you putting in the host name, depending on the version you have to put either ftp://domain.tld or just domain.tld if you tried one, you might try the other way.

I have tried both and niether are working??? Strange as I had it set up at my computer for my school account (not through godaddy). I must be missing something...

After messing with it, I get an operation time out error????????

Any other ideas guys...????
